We use the Identec Solutions RFID tag, which will give you a tremendous read/write range and capabilities. While most RFID tags wimp out when you attempt to use them around metal, our tags stand up and shout, "Here I am, talk to me."
If your coils are organized, things will run much smoother. SmartCoil will help you keep them organized. You can handle them with an overhead crane or forklift and will know where every coil is at all times.
Our SmartCoil system will work in Steel Mills, Steel Warehouses and Stamping Plants. It is also flexible enough to address your inventory and locations needs. We can communicate with your current databases or build its own. Because we use Identec Solutions, Intelligent Long Range (ILR) transponders, we can offer you capabilities not available using any other RFID solutions.
